I was born and raised in Vinita, Oklahoma, where I learned early what it means to care for people the right way.
Two of the biggest influences in my life were my grandfathers — one a local physician and the other an optometrist. Around their dinner tables, conversations weren’t just about medicine; they were about integrity, service, and treating people with respect. Those lessons shaped the kind of doctor I wanted to become.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and my Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. My clinical training took me to Texas and Louisiana, where I gained experience in comprehensive medical eye care.
After graduation, I returned to Oklahoma and practiced in Edmond, where I was fortunate to work alongside mentors who reinforced the importance of patient-centered care. Allensworth Eyecare was built on a simple belief: patients deserve time, clarity, and honest care. I look forward to serving our community and caring for you and your family’s vision.

Allensworth Eyecare operates outside of vision insurance. By removing the constraints and administrative costs of insurance billing, we are able to keep our pricing simple, transparent, and often more affordable. Our exam fees are clearly listed, and any necessary diagnostic testing is included.
There are some excellent vision insurance plans available, and if you have one that truly works well for you, we encourage you to use it where you can receive the full benefit.
We have found many patients are surprised by how much they still pay out of pocket — even after contributing to a vision plan through payroll deductions. Copays, add-on testing fees, and limited allowances for glasses or contact lenses can make eye care feel more complicated and expensive.
If you need to set up a payment plan please do not hesitate to ask. Our goal is not to complicate your care — it is to make it clearer, more predictable, and centered around you.
